Certainly in Hawaii where the flights are cheap and walk up fares are the norm, it is not an expensive proposition for NCL.

I doubt they woudl have done it for a Med sailing or a Caribbean one.</description>

If you buy insurance, they will reimburse you (in most cases) getting you to the first port of call, whether it's your air or theirs.
