Cruising Press reports out of Antigua have confirmed that yet another cruise tourist has died on the island.  The latest fatality marks the third death of a cruise passenger within four weeks.

According to reports, a female UK resident sailing onboard P&O’s Artemis became ill enroute to Antigua. Upon arrival, the tourist was rushed to Adelin Medical Centre by ambulance. The doctors reportedly did all they could to save the woman’s life but she succumbed to her illness on Sunday.

Several weeks earlier, a  60-year-old Chicago resident sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas died of an unknown illness.  In late February, another American tourist sailing on the Norwegian Pearl drowned while snorkeling.
