Carnival brands raise fuel supplement to $9

Scowling man Six Carnival Corporation brands will be raising the fuel supplement from $7 to $9 per person, per day for the first two people in a cabin, not to exceed $126 per person. The amount for third, fourth and fifth passengers goes from $2 to $4 per person, per day, not to exceed $56 per person.

The increased amount applies to new bookings as of June 12 for Carnival Cruise Lines, Costa Cruises, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and The Yachts of Seabourn.

Carnival first instituted a fuel supplement of $5 in November of last year, then raised the amount to $7 on April 7 this year.
