The Costa Classica and MSC Cruises’ Poesia bumped hulls in Dubrovnik on Friday. No injuries or significant damage were reported. The reasons for the incident are being investigated.

Costa Cruises released a statemen stating Costa Classica was at anchor when it was hit by the MSC Poesia. MSC said its ship had ‘light contact’ with the other vessel while going alongside.

Costa said most of its passengers were on tour when the contact occurred, and a preliminary inspection found no significant damage to the vessel.

MSC says there were no injuries or damage on the Poesia and the ship is operating normally on its scheduled itinerary.
