easyCruise Life ran aground in the Aegean islands on Friday, after less than a three weeks in service.

Life ran aground in a sandy area of the port of Syros, a Greek island, with 353 passengers and 105 crew on board. According to easyCruise the ship was able to dock safely in port and no injuries or damage had been reported.

The ship was sailing a 7-day cruise that ended in Athens Saturday.
