Grandeur of the Seas out of service until July

Unfortunately, the damage caused by the fire on Grandeur of the Seas will take the vessel out of service until July. Royal Caribbean stated that six sailings have been canceled so ship may undergo repairs, including: 5/31, 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28 & 7/5. All guests booked on the 5/31 sailing will receive a full refund of the cruise fare as well as a 50% future cruise certificate. Guests booked on the 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28 & 7/5 sailings will receive a full refund and a 25% future cruise credit.

Guests that were on the May 24 sailing when the fire broke out will receive a full cruise refund and a future cruise certificate for 100% of the cruise fare paid.

Grandeur of the Seas was on a seven-night sailing that departed Baltimore, Maryland, on May 24 when fire broke out in the aft mooring area of the ship. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
