Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) announced that it is raising the fuel supplement from $9 to $11 per person, per day for the first and second passenger in a cabin. For additional passengers in the room, the amount is going from $4 to $5 per person, per day. The increased surcharge will go into effect on new reservations made on or after June 20.
This is the third increase for NCL. Last November, the line introduced fuel supplements of $7 for the first two people in a cabin and $3 for additional passengers in the same room. The amount increased in April.
This lastest increase follows yesterday’s announcement by Carnival Corporation that they will increase their fuel surcharge.
AT $11 per person, per day? NCL doesn’t need my business.
