The agreement is with shipowner Paul Gauguin Shipping Ltd., a holding company controlled by brothers Alan and Hank Lewis, who separately own Grand Circle Corporation and Vantage Deluxe World Travel.

Regent said the agreement will be reviewed annually and extended based on mutual agreement with Paul Gauguin Shipping Ltd.

Regent president Mark Conroy says the cruise line is fast approaching its 10th anniversary of South Pacific service with the Gauguin, which was launched in late 1997.
