Five months into their adventure they found themselves abandoning ship in the middle of the Antarctic Ocean. GAP Explorer sinking off Antarctica (Photo courtesy of Chilean Navy via AP) There has been an increase in cruise ships visiting the Antarctic every year for the last 15 years. Last year about 35,000 people visited the region, almost all of them by cruise ship.

    Personaly i think that a cruise honeymoon is one of the best ideas. Of cource there are some dangers involved but if you choose the right cruiseship i think will be no worries at all.
