Windstar Cruises flagship, the 310-passenger Wind Surf, has just completed a “stem-to-stern” renovation that the cruise line says has elevated the ship’s ambiance to one of “casual elegance”.
The new upgrades are part of the cruise line’s $18 million fleet-wide renovation project. On Wind Surf the upgrades include new furnishings and decor in all main passenger areas, suites, and staterooms. The main dining, formerly known as The Restaurant, has been renamed AmphorA Restaurant and features a new seating layout, a state-of-the-art wine display and a new menu spotlighting local dishes and upscale ingredients.
The Veranda’s outdoor seating has also been expanded where guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch alfresco. Additionally, a live-action cooking station gives guests a chance to order exactly what they want. The former Degrees Restaurant has a new look and has been transformed into a contemporary French venue named Stella Bistro.
