Meet with your cruising mates, pack some of each others clothing in each others bag, a lost bag would still be an issue but not as catastrophic. ALSO Roll your pants they look great when you unroll them and tuck socks and underwear in your shoes. You have a balcony, bring those binoculars. Take a thermos, great to fill up with juice or coffee for that trip off the ship or back to your cabin. LASTLY photocopy your passport a photo copy in each of your luggage case, a photocopy is better than nothing if your passport goes missing.

Last time we went on a cruise, there were people there getting turned away from restraunts because of their clothing which was suprising, but it was the posh eating venues. Make sure your evening wear is spot on or even go for some elegant prom wear type clothing to ensure you feel the part and look the part, then you will have no worries getting into any of the venues.
