The events on the ship I was on called the Carnival Fascination. I was in a ocean-view room with 2 beds and it was actually quite comfortable. The "boozing" was happening on 2 of the pools. I went with my best friend and he was my wing man and visa versa. Since he was shy talking to women, I would easily go up to one that sparked his interest and say something like how I think she's prettier than I am...perhaps she would like to meet my friend since he's one of the greatest people I ever met. Believe it or not, he came out the lucky one in the end because that same girl became his wife 3 years later. They now have 3 children and live 2 towns from me. I still go over for dinner almost every Sunday night. So you get some non-party types on one cruise and Animal house on another. Usually college students will check out what is cheap. Cheap Cruise most likely equals booze cruise. Since we could not really find an affordable Disney vacation we decided to jump on a Carnival cruise traveling out of Florida on Carnival Victor.
