Carnival Cruise Lines has put travel booking agency Joystar on a do-not-book status, effective yesterday, January 7. The cruise line told Joystar-affiliated agents that they could move future bookings, if they have not been paid in full, to another agency with written authorization of the traveler. For the past few weeks the buzz amongst travel agents that Carnival was about to cut off Joystar due to its failure to pay commissions to independent contractors.
