Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced that it will be implementing a fuel surcharge of $7.50 per person, per day for 2008 sailings. The charge applies to new bookings made after this December 1 and to existing bookings that are not paid in full by the same date.
ExpertCruiser first reported that Regent was considering adding on a fuel surcharge last week. Regent now joins Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, Crystal Cruises and Hurtigruten as the current list of lines adding fuel surcharges to their guest’s bill.
Meanwhile, Regent has remained mum on it’s reported sale from Carlson Companies to Apollo Management. Stay tuned for more news on that front…
